My kitchen sink looks perpetually dirty becuase one time, there be a clog, and my DH did not read the insturctions of the liquid clog remover and combined two different kind! Needless to say that the drain started to spit up green gelatounous goo and it conspicuously ate away at our sink, because now our sink looks mottled and dirty. I've tried bleach, scrub and windex but nothing seem to work. Any suggestions?
Answers:    For stainless...the best product on the market is Bar Keepers Friend. Works approaching a darn on stainless, brass...you name it. If that doesn't shine it up later you are in for a replacement sink.
What's the sink made of? If it's porcelain and the finish have been destroyed, you can't replace that finish. You can hold it re-finished or do so yourself with special paints but it doesn't second like the ingenious finish. If it's stainless, you should be able to shine it up again. Have you tried steel wool?
