How to reclaim sparkle at home?

Ok I'm a renter, buying is not an option at the moment, that being said I inevitability to save money on my gas and electric. The insulation in the house is poor so warmness and air just come across to seep through the walls. What can we do, without investing too much money within somebody else's house? The house is small and the gas and electric are about 200 a month. I do turn off lights and clean up in cold water and try not to use nouns unless it's swealtering. Suggestions?

Try investing in CFLS compact fluorescent light bulbs. Also try turning the thermostat down on the hot dampen heater. Other than that your probably at the mercy of the homeowner on bringing the house up on energy in your favour repairs.
