I live in an aprtment and the furnae have 3 zones, the other 2 are fine, however the furnae nver kick on fr me regardless of the fact that I have it set at 80 and it was 58 contained by my apartment... the thermostat does not click regardless of what it is set on and how cold it is.
Answers:    It sounds like it could be the thermostat. Here is simple interview to check to see if it is or isn't to rule it out. This sounds to me like you hold forced hot water, is that correct or possibl;y forced hot nouns. Lets assume it is hot water. Take the cover stale the thermostat to expose the wires. Do not be concerned as it is low voltage. Now take a small piece of lead and jump out the red and white rope. You may see a small spark, it 's OK. If the circulater kicks contained by then you know its the thermostat. This examination would also be true for hot air. If it's not the thermostat it nouns like it could be a zone control spout. It is probably a Taco valve which is wispy green and should be 3 of them at the return section of boiler. To trial it, remove the two wires after first marking them 'A"and consequently remove the wires from the one next to it and blemish that one"B" The first wire "A" you took past its sell-by date should be wired to the second valve splashed "B". Don't touch the other wire or stopcock. Now ave someone turn up the thermostat in the problem room if it works later the problem will be with the zone tap "A". Hook the wires back to where on earth they belong and either replace the stopcock head or appointment a plunber. You don't have to do any plumbing merely get a investigational solenoid head and unscrew it, For a pro tem fix if you want to, there is a small lever on the top of this tap. Look for it to say open/close. Pull it up as this will unfold the valve. You presently have a two zone and both zone will be operated by one thermostat. When one zone kick on it feeds two and will shut past its sell-by date when the zone reaches the warmth set on the good thermostat. If it happen to be hot air you will own to call the HVAC guy as it could be within the controls and this is best left for him
It is your furnace most credible... have someone check it out ASAP.
