Currently i have a non tanked toilet that i'm gutting out for a strange tank style toilet. Just looked-for to know where to connect the pipes and toilet and how I can do this work myself.

first find the toilet stack (assuming a single family home)
Up to 6 unit you will find a 4 inch pipe.
most are black if its an old building and will be made of what most folks think are steel. (They are style iron)
newer building you will find a pvc (plastic pipe)
if you cant see it in the crypt then its within a wall
close to the toilet upstairs
you can also see it sticking out the roof.
(dont get it confused near smaller pipes)
its hard to verbs its 4 inch diameter
dig where on earth pipe enters concrete
very soon make this record
GO get a saddle 4 inch to 3inch
this will bring in life flowing
when you see it you will understand
once you procure to the hardware they will help you out more
because i dont know how far away your toilet will be from the
toilet stack (toilet pipe)
the rest is smooth
just epoxy resin together it will drain fine as long as you dont put to many turns within it.
its simple
you only stipulation to lay the pipe 2 percent and gravity will pull
it down mount

if i fathom out your information correctly, the bottom half of the toilet will mate one and the same as the existing toilet.
the top tank bit of the toilet will bolt on as the instructions state.
the piping will be considerably different. "Flush Valve" style vs. Tank style toilets will involve a little plumbing. you will have need of to adjust the piping to 1/2" and add a shut stale valve. from nearby you will attached a "toilet supply line" to the tank from the tentative "angle stop" you installed on the "resized" pipe.
Answers: Easy as pie, as long as you are simply replacing a toilet and not trying to install where one have not previously been.
Install a unsullied wax ring, place toilet over drain pipe, press firmly and evenly to maintain a proper trademark, snug floor bolts down til the bowl will not rock, do not over tighten as you WILL break the bowl, same for the tank bolts. Then simply connect your marine supply line,
I prefer the steel braided ones available everywhere.
You can definately do this yourself, although you may choice for some help while setting the bowl.
