Answers: A pendulum clock movement MUST be level. If it isn't you will not hear an evenly spaced tic/toc, a bit the tic will be faster than the toc, or vice versa. The tic and toc should be timed to be evenly spaced. I know this sounds confusing, but once you hear a properly balanced and timed clock, it adjectives makes sense.
In other words, build sure your pendulum is traveling the same distance from center on respectively cycle. This is accomplished by the clock individual level.
