I've tried WD-40, 3-in1 oil, etc.. The problem is these solitary fix the problem for about a week or so and grease wears sour. Once the oil wear off the door starts making a loud screech sound (like nail on a chalk board). Is there something else that can be applied (a heavier grease or grease) that will not wear off and can be done short removing the glass door?
Answers:    You hold some very upright answers here, Ellen is on the money.

I just required to mention, the purpose of those adjusting screw is to level the door making it square to the frame. Of course, you can adjust both equally raise or lowering the door.

If you adjust them, watch how the door meet the jamb. If it's not square, you need to adjust it until it is. You will promising then own to move the striker block that latches the door too.

If you want a lube that you can spray within, will be more viscous and perhaps end longer, try buying a can of spray lithium white grease. This stuff sprays on thin and thicken up. Great for your car door hinge etc. Dont use it in your saloon door lock holes, too thick contained by cold weather and it could interfere with the tumbler act.

It's very imagined that you have some worn out parts, but, adjust could get you the clearance you involve to stop the scraping. A thicker lube may buy you some time if this is not the best time of year to be doing a material repair on your door.

Great answers everyone.
