i would look contained by the attic, see what way your joist are running
if the wall is running with the joist, , its safe to thieve down ,or cut a whole within , if not this will be your supporting wall,
and its best not to remove, this one unless you support it beside
a steel beam , supporting walls are really put surrounded by place to stop the ceiling,or the roof from sagging ,
so your not confused, if your joist in the attic, are running , north to south, and your wall, is running east to west . beware
