How to trim down the crack contained by my condo? I live in a woodframe condo and enjoy some problems with...

I live in a woodframe condo and enjoy some problems with the neighbors below me slamming their doors. I hold spoken to them, they have enhanced about as much as can be expected, but it still is annoying. Should I mat the floor above where their front door is (which is exactly below my front door) or wouldn't it kind a difference.
By the way, most of my place is terracotta tile.

Please don't tell me to collaborate to them or get them to do something to their door, (they enjoy already put weatherstripping but it doesn't totally solve the problem) I want to know what I can do to my place, if anything.

Answers:    I do not think u can do anything to your floor to stop the nouns of the down stairs door.I lived in an apartment beside the same problem and we have wall to wall carpet which didn't do a item.nothing happen until the people moved out from the lower apartment..it's only just the way they shut it or should I articulate slammed it.no more problems now

OK, runner the floor but it should be the whole floor not merely the portion above the neighbor's door. Partial carpeting will not solve it. Whole floor carpeting will reduce much of the clatter. I would also suggest that you place heavy curtains on your wall (especially, if near is a window there), located surrounded by the same side of the neighbor's door. This would blur the sound such that you wont even interest it. Good luck.
