just bought a catalina lighting track light set; put surrounded by the bulb, but the socket remains loose - how to tighten to keep bulb within the bulb barred enclosure

Answers:    Not understanding ur problem. What socket? what bulb enclosure?
screw within socket lamp? sometimes center prong(hot) gets pushed down, turn bad power and pull up.
prong type lamp?
spring type oil lamp?

what are you trying to tighten?
the socket itself? probably screw and nut.

Most of the low voltage track lights have a glass cover that have to be installed to keep the lamp from falling out. Don't forget to not touch the hurricane lantern part. If you do, wipe it down with an alcohol wipe or the lamp will burn out too quickly
