What do I do step by step in establish to defrost my freezer? Roughly how long would this take? And will the freezer food be ok to sit out while I do this?
Unplug freezer
Put food safely away, distribute to neighbours or wrap tightly in several page of newspapers, or place surrounded by picnic cooler. It's better if you run your food down before doing this obligation.
If freezer has hit or outlet for the water, place a container to stop the water and an frail towel underneath to contain any spillages
Get spray bottle and fill near hot water, it'll serve the ice to liquefy faster.

Answers: Fist things first, unplug it, unfilled the freezer (including shelves etc) boil the kettle and place dishes of boiling water into freezer and shut the door (making sure you place towels where on earth the water aill come out) replace the dishes of boiling sea each time they cool past its sell-by date, gently break stale any ice and chip away what you can. Keep doing this until defrost. Or better still buy a frost free like ours no more defrost!
