How to a break a hole surrounded by stucco? I need to repair the pipes coming out of an exterior wall....

I need to repair the pipes coming out of an exterior wall. To get hold of access to them, I will need to win through the stucco. Should I just thieve a hammer and pound away at it?
Answers:    Drill a pilot hole next to a drill bit, then filch a reciprocating saw to cut the rest of it away to form a rectangle. This channel it will be much easier to repair. Just be SURE you won't be cutting through electric wiring. It may be easier to either do the work from the inside (sheet-rock is much softer so easier to cut through & easier to repair), or phone up a professional out to do the work and repair the walling when he's done.
Hammer and a rock chisel or a masonry blade on a skil saw or a diamond blade on a 4" grinder.
