I know nothing give or take a few plumbing and want to patch a flange area that is to say leaking inadequately until the plumber gets here subsequent Monday. Is there anything I can spray on or paint on that will hold for a few days ?

By the opening, the flange is directly underneath the drain hole of the bottom of the laundry sink, and has corroded.

Will much preciate proposal.
My roast and a/c will not come...
Answers:    Exactly like the above, later when in doubt use duct cartridge over the putty.
We had to, on the rank coming off the hot dampen heater until after the holiday (no approach to get a pipe cut over the long week end).

Your local hardware sell a can of " Plumbers Putty" just nick a small amount into your hands and roll it into a smudge, like a snake and put it arond the flange, next moosh it on. It should work til Monday.
