When this toilet is flushed, it often--almost always--flushes a second time on its own, wasting water. Why does this surface, and how can it be fixed? Do I need a tentative toilet?
Answers:    Open the back and see where on earth the water rank is, it should be about an inch below the top of the overflow pipe. Now flush the toilet and see what's going on. It could be that the flapper is flaccid up on the float ball or something. If it is, you may hold to move the float around some or bend it slightly to get it where on earth it doesn't hang up anymore. If the stratum is too high, turn the screw lying on the fill tube surrounded by the left mitt corner of the unit just about 1/4 inch at a time until it stops at the correct level.
check to see if the fasten is attached correctly.
