Can someone give me some idea how much it would cost to update my inner heating.

I currently have outdated style thermostat and timer (with the dial and the buttons!) and a hot water tank. In summer, I hold to keep the immersion heater on if I want hot hose as I obviously turn my central heat off!

I would like any a system that controls the heating and water separately next to individual timers or the type of system that heats the water as it is used so I can verbs my hot water tank and finally enjoy an airing cupboard with room for towels!

Thanks.
i would charge you abut lb1000 with a boiler of two yrs waranty

just have my done - i had the loft tanks removed, immersion boiler removed and hot river boiler removed. The engineer fitted an new combi-boiler and wireless thermostat. He also flushed adjectives the rads and checked the controls - works great and now have more space contained by the loft as the combi boiler does not take up much more space than the hot water boiler did. Cost me lb1900.00 for an A-rated boiler from an independant machinate - would have cost over lb3k by another firm. It is best to shop around Its impossible to give you a believable figure without seeing whats involved.Get a few quotes from local traders, ask inherited or friends to recommend someone reliable.
Answers:    A condensing combination boiler would probably be the best option depending on the size of house and hot hose requirements.
A large range of upright quality (and modern styled) wired or wireless (RF) room thermostats and programmable room stats are available, so your old ones can be removed.
It would be impossible to dispense accurate prices without surveying the job first.
A rough guess would be anything between lb1000 and lb2000 depending weather or not adjectives the parts would be provided by yourself and what exact parts (i.e boiler, radiators etc) are required.
Hope that helps a bit...
