The unit is a Badger 1, 1/3 HP and plugs into an outlet lower than the sink. My Brother and Sister in Law enjoy recently purchased a home contained by TX and with 3 kids they own other places to spend money than a plumber if this is a reasonably unforced project. We only want to trademark the sink usable again as it backs up and take hours to drain if any water get in it from the other sinkwell of the kitchen sink. Cooking for a household is hard adequate with a working double sink!
Any counsel that can be followed by two intelligent females with some rudimentary education of home repair is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the removal and install
ok unplugg the disposer and i dont know if you have pvc or copper drains at the top of disposer three loops ringed holes try to turn to moved out disposer will drop , remove hub from sink, crome piece 1 nut holds this , then install different basin within sink and pipe it to the other side my advise is that if you dont know satisfactory about plumbing draw a diagram of your sink drain judge size of pipe take a trip to home depot the pipes are usally 11/4 or 11/2 and tey will attain you what you need , do it contained by pvc unless you can sweat pipe
