Does anyone, by any chance, know how dificult it is and how long it takes to loose change soil stack? I live in a top floor flat, and be advised that flats below me enjoy problems with the soil stack. Therefore, contractors want to modification the whole running of the soil stack. According to them, they will have need of to knock down both my kitcken and batroom walls(as pipe is within the middle of these walls) and it will take them at lowest possible 2 to 3 months to change it contained by my flat and build the walls back. Im not the plumber and not a builder, but isn't it a bit toooo long??my flat is tiny! so is the bathroom,so the walls are probably not wider than 2.5meter. can someone please oblige me?Thank you!
Answers: 2/3 months thats a long time
we cant see how much stuff there is to move out of the road to get to the wall/s but it sounds similar to 2/3 weeks if they leave plenty of drying time for mortar and plaster
This is to long unless in that are some other circumstances you haven't mentioned possibly relating to permits and regulations. Where are you located and do they expect you to move out for 3 months?
