with using my regular fry? My regular heat is also gas, forced hot river. I like the fireplace b/c it heat up much more quickly but does it burn abundantly more gas? I can't afford surprises this year!
Answers: I'd say the gas fireplace is nice,but a poor choice to thaw out the house .The radiant heat is heat for a small area.Hot hose boiler much more efficient.
Heat rises so if you hire ceiling fans, your gas fireplace will use smaller amount fuel but be careful, you recompense for the amount of gas you use.
