It doesn't burn anything to ash. I rent so I do not have the instruction book. I always thought you only just shut the door and turned it on to heat. That is packed up in this armour. Also, I forget how long you have to be off it on to work. I let it sit for partially an hour.

if it is a self cleaning oven it should own a self cleaning option on your control. if it does it will automatically shut past its sell-by date when its done
