The air comes within from the soffit, but there is no ridge for a ridge vent and it does not be paid sense to cut a hole in the roof where on earth the water from the roof above comes down. Do you put small gable type vent in the sides above the insulation where on earth the addition connects to the ingenious building? Would solar- powered vents gross sense?

In the UK you would use a breathable membrane below your roof tiles and therefore not involve to vent the roof anywhere else. Maybe you have this fitted?
