What you did is burn the pan to the carpet. First rotten the carpet is ruined you can't repair it. You can repair the pan but it involves alot of elbow grease! Best of luck!

Sounds close to youre SOL. Even if you do get it unstuck, I'm sure the carpet is ruined. Buy a bright pan and carpet, and cover the evidence.

Answers:    Use a long sharp cut , cutting right at the pan .
That will exit the max amount of carpet .
After that , soak the pan within hot water and scrape next to a razor blade or other very sharp blade .
