Answers:    You can use tile biters to shape the tile providing you only want to shape the corners of the peices. They cost about $20.00. If you involve to cut away a large portion of any peice the tile will most predictable break where you don't want it to using the biters.Also it will not give up your job the edge smooth. It really would be best if you remove the guiderail and refasten it to the new tile surface after the tile glue and grout has have time to cure. If for some reason the guiderail simply isn't able to be removed a short time ago get the tile to shape as close as possible and use grout to compress in the missing areas. And if this ends up one what you have to do be soft with the sponge when going over that nouns when cleaning the excess from the wall.
