I am applying primer to my shed. In the groove that runs in the siding, when I look sideways down all along the wall I see holes or seperation places. I tried loading it up with paint but they are still in attendance. The siding looks great looking directly at it. But when you look sideways, another story. Do I use caulk?
Answers:    I know exactly what you mean. There is no specific substance that is better than another for this. In olden times I've used caulk to fill these holes. Then I would brush the grooves first, and consequently roll the flat surface.

Since you are priming remember that primer is not paint and does not have to look obedient. It only have to cover the surface. If it looks thinner some places that is fine. Many culture waste time and primer trying to put a angelic looking coat of primer on. Not needed. Hope this helps.
