We're in a rental house that come with blinds. The dog broke the string on one side of one. These blinds look approaching their slats are wood. Thanks.

Answers:    Check out another blind. Usually it goes over the pulley at the top and through the slats, coming up on the outside to the top again and out to the side going away the strings to pull up and down etc. I've done it, take tweezers, a good fluffy and keep the dog away while doing it. If it's too much of a hassle, I doubt the blinds are wood contained by a rental, you may be able to replace quite inexpensively. Most of the "wood" look blinds are actually a solid plastic. Once again, the best directions would be to take another blind down and look closely at it.
