It was fine closing night when I cleaned up the kitchen from dinner. My husband be home today and it's not working- it makes a low, inactive buzzing sound. We are latest homeowners and the thing is with the sole purpose 8 months old- from the day that we moved within. We built our house last year.

How do I reset it?
There is lone food in it- nil else- I checked.

If you can help- I sure would appreciate it. I really hate man "all thumbs" when it comes to stuff similar to this but am more than willing to revise.

Answers:    If it is humming the red button is not tripped . the disposal is jammed . underneath the disposal there is a hole beside a hex pattern. an allen wrench will fit within there if you dont hold the tool it came beside. Make sure the power is off and work the disposal hindmost and forth to free it up. feel free to run the dampen while you do this.If it doesnt spin freely you need a up to date one..
