Take the spout to a hardward store and pick up what you have need of. It helps to apply plumbers grease or vaseline on them when you reinstall.
You can't repair an o-ring, but you can replace it effortlessly. A good hardware store or a home store will sell replacement o-rings, though they might be sold within a package with several different sizes. If possible, bring the behind the times ring in with you for comparison.
New rings are flexible but still somewhat challenging to put on. You might need a tremendously narrow tool like a staple file to manipulate it into the right position.

I just spent an interesting couple of minutes trying to work out what a two handled sink could be? I dont know of any sinks near even one handle.
