The local equipment rental race will rent you a drywall jack that will hold the drywall up tight to the ceiling while you screw it up. Its still a two man job, but its authentic easy using the jack

It's not really concrete to do, just laborous. You'll have need of help to heave and hold the drywall in place while it's nail or screwed in.

Many of my line members enjoy done all their own drywall work.
