How do you put a slight tarnish on different galvinized roofing to sort it clash elder metal on roof very soon ?? dont want it to rust just nick the shine off

Answers: Try hose shutting down sprayer w/ tri sodium phosphate if its already on the roof. or wipe it down prior to installation.
Try a vinegar wash. But, anytime you remove the factory "shine" from tin, you will promote eventual rust thru. It will pinch a long time, to actually rust, but it will rust. Once wash with vinegar, the metal will loose it's sheen, and will develop a whitish hue, that will appear mottled.
