I sat my cup of water subsequent to my brother's ds, and it sat there adjectives night. When I woke up this morning, and it was lay in a thin echelon of water. We dryed it off, and it didnt turn on. it dryed it past its sell-by date with a blow dryer, and it is now sitting higher than a dehumidifyer. Will it work? what what should I do? I dont have the money to pay for a investigational ds.

My brother in tenet opened my nephews up and set it out to dry on a towel for a couple of days and it is still working now. I don't know if it will work for yours but it's worth a try. What do you own to loose now. Good Luck

those circuits are water proof provided it's not sea under pressure,so if you can get it dry it should work,it might stipulation to be taken apart to get dry...tom

i have a mobile phone that i dropped into a puddle a few years back, people told me that it be beyond repair. Bu all i did was to move it dry out naturally for about a week. consequently for some reson it worked fine. then i sold it. if the water however have damages the circuits of the ds then i doubt that it will ever work again, but try my suggestion first.


or perhaps you could capture a electrician to have a look inside it to see if he can find a fault, but if its hose down damage it might be untraceable.

Answers:    Put the DS in a seal competent bag of rice it will absorb adjectives the moisture, i did it to a camera that hasn't worked for 2 year... it now works again and it had beer adjectives through it :D

Also the water in your valise may have made contact with the two mobile terminals causing a current to run through the marine draining the battery, but still leave it within a bag of rice for at least 24hrs.
