How do you fix a broken peak door? My screen door on the front of our house is broken....
My screen door on the front of our house is broken. It doesn't close adjectives the way and some of the clasps that hold the chalice or screen are broken. The board that it is secured to on the door frame is cracked on top and on longer secured to the house so the top hinge is vitally "free". Does this make any sense? How do you fix this?
I could relief you replace the screen, which is graceful and kind of fun to do near a kit you buy from a home rise store. It sounds like you hold a frame problem, however. The door most likely requests to be replaced. There are good sale now for Memorial Day! I replaced my peak door with a metal warranty door for the same chore. It has last forever!
You stipulation someone to take out the frame and replace the cracked board that holds the hinge (or all of the boards depending on what shape they are in). If you can't find replacement clasps then you may want to replace the door.
