I've hear of people 'pressing' them, merely wanted a few other ways, and how to do it, yeah..
I also heard this one: put your flowers upside down. I hold done this with roses heaps times and it works great.
okay pressing them in a big gluey book with some napkins within between will flatten them out but it can be done that way to risk-free them, what i used to do is to hang almost bloomed out flowers, specially roses , upside down and spray them beside hairspray to give them a nice coat to prevent from shedding. vacate them to dry in a shadowy place so they will keep the colour.
if you hold a big hotensia flower, just put it contained by water and move off in wet till the water runs out, it will dry on it's own and most of the colour will stay, it will obtain a bit darker, won't stay as vibrant.
i also hear that some people put their flowers surrounded by the microwave to dry, but i have never tried that one but.

powered clay [bentonite is ideal]
place in a melt dry place.
The clay will remove all the moisture from the plant textile.
