Go to any paint dealer or any big box store and look for linseed grease. Just clean up the handle and rub some linseed oil on beside a cloth. Wipe on a little at a time and permit it soak in for a light of day or so before going posterior and putting any more on. It is better to rub some on a little at a time instead of drenching the handle.
