I have a kerosene heating system that I bought at Walmart about 5 years ago. I own lost the instructions. I went out to the garage to fluffy it today and can tell I am forgetting to do something since it won't feathery.Yes, I put kerosene in it.I want some step by step instructions.Thanks.
Answers: If this is like a KeroSun, a brand I believe they still engender, there is a wick on the inside that burns the fuel. There should be an access door, around 4X4" on a hinge. Open it, see if there is a wick (if unused, it will be a circular looking piece and off white; if used, it will own some soot but that is not a great concern unless it is nearly solid to the touch). Open your tap, it should have a street light setting but if not, sympathetic only 1/4 to 1/2 turn, hold a long meeting close to the wick, and if fuel is getting to it it should light.
Wait a few minutes and consequently observe through the little hatch or though the clear pane if it has them, and slowly turn up the control knob. You should see a result, similar to a gas stove.
