i live in an elder trailer (1978 marshfield) and my hot water pipes freeze, but not my cold. i bought this trailer within june of '07 had no model what was needed to keep hold of the water flowing. in that is heat video and i have that plugged surrounded by. would it be hard to believe they in recent times heat tape the cold water pipes and not the hot hose down pipes?
Unlikely but possible that orig'l pipe wrappers goofed. If you can reach the pipes ok, look and see! If they are indoors, a fleece dryer works. If outdoors, a pan of hot sea and towel has worked for me.

The first thing you entail to do is determine where the rime has formed. In my house, the kitchen is within the front, and if I forget to leave the dampen dripping and the cupboards under the sink approachable, the pipes will freeze at the point where the pipe bends up to nurture the tap.(no warmness tape on this part) To unfreeze these pipes, I set my vaccum to blow a bit than suck, and I place the vaccum blower tube at the spot where the pipe splash comes up from the floor. A regular fan pointed within this direction works too. The pipes will unblock within less than 20 minutes, and near is no risk of setting the house on fire.

It may be a honourable idea to crawl lower than the house next summer and check out the warmth tapes-- where they are and what condition they are within.

Good luck!
