There are 4 studs that come up from the floor that the toilet fits over then nuts are used to out of harm`s way it. The building is over 60 years old and adjectives the plumbing is original. I enjoy to fix it myself because the landlord will try and stick me beside a low-flow if I call him. Most of the studs are rusted out and I don't know how they are attached to the floor. The local home store simply has modern fixtures and population who would be unemployable anywhere else. I kind of entail to know what I'm looking at so I can get or instruct the parts so it won't be down for long. Anybody who is knowledgeable on this elder style American Standard toilet I would appreciate any light you could shed on this problem.
They are merely brass double threaded screws, one terminate is a would screw for going into the floor and the other end is machined for the nut and washer. You can buy them separately at Ace Hardware.

www.diy.com or the DIY grating website...
( I thinks it's www.diytv.com)
I do my own plumbing too, you could other BUY your own toilet and let the tenant put it in, that process you get your opening and he/she has theirs...(don't forget the little wax donut...)
Answers:    resourcefully the front two will be 1/4" coach screws, apparatus screws on 1 side and wood screw on the other
the ones on the toilet flange (drain) will be 1/4" x16 contrivance thread
60 years old the flange will be type iron or brass. if they break then you will inevitability to drill and re-tap the threads
both bolts should be 21/2" long
thats what you will be looking at
if its original
