Kenmore, drop in stove/oven. Heard pop, sizzle, and looked contained by and sure enough red flame and sparks. Turned sour the oven, and when I tried to turn it back on to show DH, it won't grill at all. Definately requirements to be replaced. Can anyone out there contribute me VERY specific instructions on how to change the part? We cannot afford to call the repairman, or buy a clean stove. THANK YOU!

Turn OFF the circuit breaker for the stove.
The element is held surrounded by place by 2 screws. as you verbs it out there are 2 wires. verbs them off.
goto an appliance parts store beside the old one. procure a new one for 12 dollars.
Go home and replace it.

You own to remove the oven from its cabinet. Make sure the power is off . Inside the oven where on earth the element go through the back wall are two screw remove them.Then go to the fund side pull the terminal off and install modern element after reverse process
