I have these holes within my carpet within multiple places (dog). To replace it, I was going to use the mat in the closet. How do I do that (step by step instructions)? Where can I find hearth rug remenants?

Answers:    Take a utility knife and cut out a piece of runner large satisfactory to cover the hole from the closet.
