I was competent to remove the faucet assembly itself fairly smoothly. but how do you get the infirm connector (which spins freely, but won't come off) and the part that fits right against the wall (housing?) The cog that touches the wall will unscrew only down to the spinning connector which won't come past its sell-by date. (I wish I could show a picture!) Basically, I get the old faucet bad, but I can't get the rest of the hardware bad the supply line.Help!!!! (What a process to spend a Friday night. Yes, I own no life!)
Answers:    i'd hold the pieces that you do have removed down to the local plumbing supply house, (so they can see what you have), and obtain their advice and the correct replacement. at most minuscule by doing it on a friday night you can run out and buy the parts on saturday morning, as challenging doing it on a saturday night and nil is open come sunday. apposite luck.
You shouldn't have a free-spinning connector. It sounds close to you've unscrewed a joint. Leave the river turned off, and give the name a plumber.
