The gap between the fiberglass wall and greenboard is between 1-2 inches. When i help yourself to a shower i know it will create alot of noise. What can i do to remove this sound? I hold not installed the shower yet.

Answers:    The shower walls are designed to jump against the faming and the dry wall sheathing to go over the flange and butt the turn-up of the panel. You should frame in both sides to the size of the shower, and after drywall to the panels. you can use some nouns insulation between the wall and panel also. use non faced would be best.

U can plague the gap beside expanding foam in a can. U might hold to open a breach or a hole in the drywall to do so. Careful when u spray it inside and don't permit it get to the fiberglass on the outside because it receive messy to clean. Get the type that don't expand too much to insulate the rear legs of the shower.
