Everytime I paint my nails they always take dents in them. People say that you should apply a coat of clear, 1 coat of color, a 2nd coat of color, a coat of clear, and next let it dry in between respectively coat. I do this and it never dries properly. What am I doing wrong? I use to paint my nails once every 2 weeks until this started happening. Could the polish be too elderly? How long should I wait for each coat to dry?
Answers: The polish could be too antiquated. It thickens as it ages & won't go on smoothly after in the region of 6 months (or a lot of use). I would wait around 10 min for each coat to dry. It sounds like you hold the order of the coats correct.
well i deem the polish COULD be old. idk. but what i think it is, is that when its drying you might accidentally touch it. that happen to me ALL THE TIME! i paint my nails and then i touch them when i estimate there dry. lol. hope this helps. =] <3jackie the polish sounds similar to its too old.
