This is a tar newspaper roof over my garage [that extends out away from the rest of the house] and it's starting to form little puddles when it rains. I guess this might miserable that the puddles might break through or cause leak, or that the wood in the garage roof might rot, but... it's simply the garage. Does it matter? Thanks
Answers: Your roof should enjoy an adequate slope so that wet will drain off. If you own dips or low spots in the roof, the marine will puddle. If your garage is not leaking immediately, it eventually will. If you have a low spot, you will inevitability to support the roof and restore the drainage slope, not just apply alien roofing material. It might not be an emergency, but you will most probable be looking at roof repairs in the fundamental future. In the meantime, preserve the roof clean of wreckage, and if you are able to access the roof, sweep the puddling wet away so that it doesn't stand in the low spot for drastically long.
