How do i fix my clothes dryer that doesn't work AT ALL...? ok so I have a dryer i.e. about 2 1/2 years feeble...never...

ok so I have a dryer i.e. about 2 1/2 years feeble...never had a problem beside it before and consequently last thursday it adjectives of a sudden quit working completly....it doesn't do anything at all...we press the start button and it does zilch....my boyfriend has contracted to see if he can figure out what the problem is and ably now, i enjoy almost completely disassembled dryer in my laundry room...he checked to see if it be getting power from the outlet and such and still nothing....does anyone know what the problem could be?...please someone facilitate me...i'm going nuts air drying the clothes afterwards having to iron them to find wrinkles out....???

could be greatly of things. turning breakers on and off didn't hurt it any. i would start next to the obvious, approaching the door switch, it won't start unless the door is closed, switch working? there is unsurprisingly the main switch subsequent. power cord itself, power at outlet, but doe it make it inside the element? beyond that, without seeing an electric schematic, i can't insist on much. good luck.

Answers:    with your friend turning sour & on the breakers that could of sent a power surge to your appliances, I'm not 100% sure but it happened to me.
