Its an old WhiteKnight tumble dryer, but the drum still turns and the timer still works... I've replaced the thermal overload protection and there's power going into it but still blows cold nouns... Could it be the temperature switches on the front panel? They are for illustrious and low heat... Any proposal gratefully received, thanks!
My dryer did duplicate thing. It would come on and sometimes it would boil up and sometimes it wouldn't. We replaced the heating item and something else on it but in the winding up it turned out to be the outlet was unpromising so test your outlet.
First unplug the machine.
Most(I cannot utter yours because I cannot see it) dryers I have come accross come apart by popping the top past its sell-by date. When the top to the dryer is off, you hold the ability to verbs the rotating drum out thru the top. Behind the drum on the wall is the heating element(just close to the element within the toaster) a thin piece of curly telecommunication that goes from positive to cynical.) It glows and the disciple in the dryer blows against the constituent giving the warm nouns.
Chance are that curly wire have a break in it. No nouns. You can simply stretch it abit(it is brittle so take care) and hook it together to the other completion of the wire. Same approaching taking your 2 pointer fingers and hooking them together. Connection is re-established. Now that may hold for a cycle or for 500 cycles. Cannot say. Do that or walk out and buy another heating core for that dryer model from an appliance store and reinstall it. I be planning to after the second break, but that was 2 years ago, still haven't and dryer still works. If you are cheery with you electric wiring repair, you really can't put any glue here (this gets red hot), put the drum vertebrae in , the drive belts fund on...the top back on and provide it a whirl.
Answers: Element have gone open circuit ( I would hold tested that first! )
