Answers:    If it's a small fountain with an electric pump un-plug the pump.'Then pick up the fountain at the point where on earth the water comes out and look at both the bottom and the top. Usually the place where on earth the pump connects and where the dampen flows out is just a rubber tube. Replace that. You can find lenghs of the tubing at the box stores approaching Lowe's.
If it's in the fountain mixing bowl use silicon caulking like the thoughtful you use on guttering and downspouts.

Depending on what kind of fountain it is and where on earth it's leaking from you can use silicone sealant. It's available contained by the hardware dept. of Wal-Mart. It should come in clear and white, surrounded by a tube. If it's an outdoor fountain make sure you go and get the stuff that's for outdoor use. Good luck!
