Answers:    Well.......in attendance are a few things you can do.

1. If the rip isn't too bad, you can use some electrical video and wrap it around the bad spot.

2. If too much of the flex is exposed or broken you can try to cut out the bad spot and "splice" the wires hindmost together. then wrap the wires next to the electrical tape making sure the exposed conflicting wires are not touching, and can not touch after being wrapped.

3. You can cut the rope at the just above the fruitless spot and install a new plug on the shorter ruin. You may have to use an extension cord after doing that.

4. If you can bring back the part of the pump, where on earth the wire go into it apart, you can undo the wires from the pump and install a adjectives new cord and plug. (This may require some soldering).

Just remember one item. Don't do ANY of this while the pump is plugged in.

Replace the entire cord. If you can't replace it buy a new pump. Anything smaller quantity is asking for trouble either by someone getting hurt or cause a fire. Don't use it until it is fixed.
