How do I bring some vivacity final to a dull hip bath? My avocado coloured bath is really dull and own whitish streaks...
My avocado coloured bath is really dull and own whitish streaks down it, mainly because I accidentally spilt a short time floor varnish on it. Does anybody know how to get rid of the streaks and bring the tub back to its polished state? I enjoy visitors staying contained by 3weeks time! Hee..lll..pp!
Otherm than hving it re-enamled which is expensive you could try taking the focus off the hip bath by adding accesories adjectives over the bathroom, flowers and candles and little ornaments to give them something else to distract them from the tub. I have a flying pig mobile slack over my bath. Try putting a corner shelf up lofty and putting a jug and pudding basin on there. Get some slack ivy or other trailing plant (in plastic if required) Put the plant in the mixing bowl where the carafe is standing and let it drape down over the side of the shelf down the wall it looks lovely.
Here is what you don't desire to hear - your varnish stripped the surface color from your tub. So you're most likely stuck near the streak. I would try and streak the rest of the tub to make it look similar. Believe it or not, streaks are not nearly as embaarassing as dirtiness - clean that sucker till it sparkles, brand name sure no mold is withing view, verbs your drain and shine up your faucets.
I guess is you want to try and remove the streak - (I still think it's engrained surrounded by your finish) you can try a combination of scrubbing bubbles and ajax - try it placidly at first then more emphatically.
Answers: First, go to your hardware or building supply store and bring back a small container of liquid varnish/paint remover. Be sure to homily to a knowledgeable clerk to get hold of the right stuff. When you get home, wear rubber gloves and use the varnish remover to win rid of the streaks. Next, use a regular tub cleaner to get rid of adjectives surface "dirt", and rinse very powerfully. To save time, dry the tub near a towel. If there are calcium deposits (which would dull the surface), you can try, surrounded by order, a vinegar-soaked handkerchief, CLR (gloves!), or toilet bowl cleaner (gloves!). Follow that with another flawless rinse.
