How can i remove the paint from an electric outlet that have be painted over? i have a 3 prong ind circuit outlet for my nouns...

i have a 3 prong ind circuit outlet for my nouns conditioner that has be painted over.i would like to craft it operational.how to do this in need receiving a shock?

Change the outlet. It's very glib. Black wire go to brass colored screw, white wire go to silver screw. Bare copper wire go to green ground screw. Turn off circuit formerly working !

You could:
-shut bad power to it, remove it, and then verbs it
-or just use your fingernail and collect the paint off short touching any of the insides of the outlet
-just buy a new one and variation it out

Answers:    Sometimes have to run out for an inexpensive item just doesn't give the impression of being woth it, so, use a plastic knife. It'll work even to bring back the paint out of the screws.
