How can I find my drain trap apart? I dropped a small siver cross down the drain in my bathroom....
I dropped a small siver cross down the drain in my bathroom. Our house is investigational construction and has plastic drain pipes. I am trying to give somebody a lift the pipes apart so I can get into the trap. My pipe wrench is not moderately big enough and can solely grab the nub around the drain and becaus ethey are plastic, they are giving away before I can loosen it. Any planning? Maybe flexible magnats? It's a very feathery weight cross :+)
Answers: Keep at it and don't run any more hose down it. You can get the trap loose beside a pair of massive pliers if you have to.
you can try to slap the nubs beside the wooden part of a small tack hammer or with a small piece of wood as they should not be on physical tight, if that does not work put a screw driver against the nubs and touch with a sledge hammer. afterwards just unscrew the pipes and they come right apart. when putting them rear legs, don't over tighten.
