House heat problem? We live in a raise ranch to be precise natural gas heated....
We live in a raise ranch to be precise natural gas heated. The heat system has two controllers, one for respectively floor. The downstairs controller only controls partly of the basement as the partner is a-two-car garage. The problem is up stairs. The half to be exact on top of the garage is other very cold. It feel like it is 50 degree at all times. The partially that is over the finished area is other very worm, roughly 75 degrees. Not sure why that discrepancy within the temperature when the entire floor is on one controller. Can you please guidance on what the problem is and how can i fix?
Thanks a lot
Answers: It sounds similar to the system was unbecomingly designed. To fix it, start by insulating between the garage ceiling and the upstairs floor. Then, the upstairs system will need enjoy the airflows adjusted to the different parts. Hopefully in attendance are dampers in the ducts and they are accessible. For more info, check out the ducts page at www.hvac-for-beginers.com
You involve to insulate the ceiling in the garage to prevent grill loss from your other room..
Good luck!!!
