our siding was worn out on one side of the house. insurance wants to replace it beside white siding. our house has green siding. we own not turned in an estimate however. the siding has be discontinued. they can not match it. should they own to replace it all since it cant be matched

Just don't take a change settlement or you will lose for sure. Tell the adjustor you have insurance to REPLACE what is lost and that's what you want. Tell him to find a contractor. That's element of his job. Don't permit him off assured.
