anyone facilitate me out here?
need some more info. if nil is working - not even the indoor fan..a good place to start would be the breaker box and after that turn to the thermastat.
pull off the cover and submerge wires on the 'R' terminal - likely red to the 'G' terminal - likely to be green but not other.
By jump I mean within other words you can manually thouch them together...and see if your fan comes on...If so good casual you may just have a impossible thermostat
It could be a little things but the A-Coil (evaportor coil) is where refrigerent gets pumped into which is above your furance explicitly what the air passes over to capture cold. It also acts as a filter and can get dirt and after restrict air flow. You could also need more freon. It take some expensive tools to check freon levels and to add more within. It would be more cost effective to call a tech out.
Try one hour heat and air.
Answers: Start by cleaning the units coils on both the outside and the inside. You can buy spray cans of coil cleaners(non rinse for inside and blowout for outside) at your contiguous hardware or HVAC store. Oil your motors. and change your filters. If you involve freon at least your won't have to be charged for cleaning and oil the unit. Be sure to tell the HVAC company you purely need to see if the puppy needs to be topped bad. Or just charge the unit yourself to 68 PSI on the low side. This will supply you an ideal 40 degrees across the A-coil if you are using R-22.
take the lid off your condenser and rear flush your condenser clean it from the inside out no coil cleaner needed for condensers 40 degree coil can be obtain after you get superheat and sub coolant by polar is just that by polar consequently if not cooling then phone call a tech
